Job summary

Qualifications

Knowledge of the principles, techniques and methods applicable to radiologic technology and radiation safety.
Ability to learn to operate equipment and position patients, as well as to prepare records and reports.
Experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide diagnostic imaging services; prepare, position and transfer patients; select appropriate technical factors.
Operate radiography equipment and ensure safety standards are followed.
Assist physicians with contrast administration and maintain equipment functionality and records.
Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper inventory.
