Job summary

The Radiologic Technologist at Community Care Partners in Bend, OR performs standard x-ray examinations, ensuring proper technique and patient positioning per provider orders. The role includes blood draws, vital signs, collecting histories, injections, vaccines, and assisting in procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current state Radiologic Technologist licensure required.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• New graduates encouraged to apply if qualified.

Responsibilities

• Follow prescribed safety standards in operating radiologic equipment.
• Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Adhere to shielding protocols and radiation safety.
• Prepare patients for examinations and record vital signs and histories.
• Assist with injections and vaccines as needed.
• Prepare exam/treatment rooms and maintain supplies and equipment.
• Set radiographic exposure levels as per protocol and patient needs.
• Utilize CR and DR systems to acquire and store images.
• Review images for image quality and completeness.
• Support clinicians during procedures as required.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program

Current state Radiologic Technologist licensure

Current BLS for Healthcare Providers
