Job summary

Coastal Urgent Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform standard x-ray exams, take vital signs, draw blood, and assist with injections and vaccines. The ideal candidate will be energetic, eager to learn, with a passion for patient care.

Education requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, current licensure, and BLS certification. New graduates are welcome to apply, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Current state Radiologic Technologist licensure and BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• Prior radiologic technologist experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard x-ray examinations with proper technique and patient positioning.
• Take vital signs, input medical histories, and assist with procedures as directed.
• Administer injections and vaccines and assist providers during procedures.
• Prepare examination rooms and maintain medical supplies and equipment.
• Store/send images and adhere to shielding protocols and radiation exposure limits.
