Job summary

Guthrie in Sayre, PA is seeking an Radiologic Technologist to operate stationary and portable x-ray equipment and supervise students in clinical areas. The role requires ARRT certification or eligibility and PA NYS licensing as applicable.

EPIC and PACS knowledge is important for workflow efficiency and patient care quality. The position entails performing diagnostic radiologic procedures, maintaining patient modesty and safety, and supporting a collaborative radiology team across shifts,

Qualifications

ARRT-certified or eligible radiologic technologist required.
NYS Radiologic Technologist License or Temporary Permit required for NY jobs.
ARRT certification preferred or achievable within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

Adjust radiographic equipment to correct settings for each examination.
Position patients accurately to ensure optimal imaging.
Perform image QA with proper labeling and technique.
Relate to patient information and procedures as ordered.
Follow infection control protocols for all patients.
Prepare patients and manage IV contrast knowledge; use RIS, scheduling, and PACS.
Attend in-service programs and maintain high standards in Radiology.
Collaborate with technologists, nurses, and healthcare professionals.
Support student supervision and instruction in the radiology department.
