Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of Radiologic Technology Program.
• 0-2 years’ experience in a hospital or clinic.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
• Licensed by the State of Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Performs medical imaging procedures for diagnosis or treatment in a clinical setting, focusing on routine radiography.
• Uses patient handling, physics, anatomy, physiology, pathology and radiology knowledge to assess patients and develop radiologic techniques.
• Reports to the Medical Imaging Manager.
• Participates in providing quality images and patient care.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologists performs medical imaging procedures for diagnosis or treating medical problems in a clinical setting which consists of routine radiography. The Radiologic Technologists use their expertise and knowledge of patient handling, physics, anatomy, physiology, pathology and radiology to assess patients, develop optimal radiologic techniques or plans and evaluate resulting radiographic images. The Radiologic Technologist reports to the Medical Imaging Manager.
