Job summary

Ardent Health Services seeks an evening shift Radiology Tech in Tulsa, OK to perform diagnostic radiology exams and support patient care. You will ensure radiation safety, properly position patients, and handle film/digital image development and storage, including EKG testing and Holter monitoring.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and is ARRT registered or eligible, with BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology training program in a school approved by the AMA's Council on Medical Education.
• Registered or registry eligible with the ARRT.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical diagnostic radiology films as directed by the provider.
• Provide radiation protection to patients and staff.
• Properly position patient for procedures.
• Responsible for the proper development and storage of films and/or digital images.
• Perform EKG testing and ability to perform the Holter monitor process.

• Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
