Dormont Manufacturing Co is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures, assess patient safety, and mentor junior staff. This role requires ARRT eligibility with licensure within 90 days and a current BLS certification. Travel between facilities and flexible scheduling are expected.
The successful candidate will operate imaging equipment, review images for quality, and support departmental operations while maintaining patient privacy and professional communication.
This job assesses patients and safely performs routine radiographic procedures in accordance with prescribed safety procedures and protocols. Serves as a clinical mentor for junior staff and students.
Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
Required: None. Preferred: Radiologic technology experience.
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or eligible for registration, with registration within 90 days of employment and temporary state license required. Current unrestricted license in the state of practice. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Heavy work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 25 to 50 pounds frequently, or 10 to 20 pounds constantly, moving objects. Exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissue, including occupational risk for communicable diseases. Potential exposure to hazardous medications or waste in clinical setting. Work may involve lifting, standing, walking, and requiring a production pace that may involve pushing or pulling materials.
NOTE: The constant stress and strain of maintaining a production pace, especially in an industrial setting, can be physically demanding even when the amount of force exerted is negligible.
