Job summary

CareNow in Richmond, VA is hiring a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiology procedures, quality checks, and related lab tasks. You will maintain records, follow occupational procedures, and assist with patient care as needed.

This position offers incentive eligibility and a competitive hourly wage with a sign-on bonus potential. The role requires ARRT licensure and state-specific credentials, plus BLS and safety certifications.

Qualifications

• ARRT license required.
• GMRT license if state requires.
• BLS certification within 30 days.
• Breath alcohol screening certification within 3 months.
• Drug screening certification within 3 months.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Sciences program.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely, high-quality radiology procedures.
• Conduct quality control checks on radiologic equipment.
• Perform drug screens, urinalysis, and in-house lab tests.
• Maintain records and logs of in-house and outside lab work.
• Follow client preference cards and occupational procedures.
• Assist with general patient care when needed.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Radiology Technician, you will:

• Perform timely and quality radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician.
• Perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic equipment.
• Perform drug screens, urinalysis and other in-house lab tests including processing specimens for reference laboratories.
• Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays sent out to other labs.
• Ensure occupational client’s preference card is followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.
• Assist with general patient care when needed.

You Should Have:

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Graduated from an accredited school of Radiological Sciences
• Current ARRT license is required
• General Medical Radiology Technician (GMRT) license if required by the state
• The ability to obtain a BLS Certification is required within 30 days of start
• Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion
• TENNESSEE ONLY: Current state license to practice radiologic services in a physician practice or clinic is required
