Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to radiologist protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
• Produce high-quality radiographs for diagnosis.
• Select proper technical settings and operate imaging equipment.
• Complete exams efficiently, maintaining productivity standards.
• Maintain accurate records and digital images.
• Follow safety standards to protect patients, staff, and the public.
• Maintain records and manage radiology information systems.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends and holidays.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training.

Minimum Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) – within 12 months of hire.
• CPR certification – within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Technical diploma in Radiology.

Experience Levels:

• Level I: No prior experience required.
• Level II: Minimum 3 years of experience.
• Level III: Minimum 5 years of experience.

Additional Preferences:

• Pediatric imaging experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of diagnostic imaging modalities and equipment.
• Proficiency with PACS, RIS, CR, and DR systems.
• Commitment to continuing education and safety standards.
