Qualifications

• Ability to perform a 50:50 mix of CT and X-ray procedures.
• Experience operating GE imaging equipment preferred.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled CT/X-Ray Technologist to perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) and diagnostic X-ray examinations in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role requires an individual with exceptional imaging expertise, outstanding patient care skills, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach to delivering quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform both CT and diagnostic X-ray examinations following established imaging protocols.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures and explain the examination process.
• Operate and maintain GE imaging equipment while adhering to quality assurance standards.
• Accurately document patient information and imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic services.
• Participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled.
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety, infection control, and departmental policies.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
• Texas Medical Board (TMB) license required.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• Experience performing both CT and X-ray imaging in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Ability to perform a 50:50 mix of CT and X-ray procedures.
• Experience operating GE imaging equipment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CT and diagnostic radiography procedures, radiation safety, and patient positioning.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Shift is 8 hrs/day (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM), 40 hrs/week
• Location is Pecos, TX 79772
• Pay Range for Locals: $56 - $61 per hour
• Pay Range for Travelers: $2,650 - $2,685 per week
