Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, an active Florida State Radiologic Technologist license, and a minimum of one year of CT experience. BCLS certification is needed within the first 30 days of employment.

Job description

A CT Technologist opportunity is available in Ocala, FL, supporting both a freestanding emergency department (FSED) at Pea Ridge and an FSED at Perdido. Both sites serve a broad patient population ranging from neonates to geriatric patients and operate under the direction of a Radiologist.

The role.

Working under Radiologist supervision, the CT Tech independently performs radiologic and CAT scan procedures that require sound judgment and the skilled application of prescribed ionizing radiation—without the need for constant technical oversight. The technologist assumes responsibility for designated areas and procedures, adapting to the clinical demands of an emergency department environment. Candidates placed at either FSED location must bring acute care experience, given the acuity and pace of emergency-based imaging.

What we're looking for.

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license (active)
• ARRT registration in Radiography (R) and CT preferred
• Minimum one year of CT experience required; acute care CT experience required for FSED positions
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
