Job description

A CT Technologist opportunity is available at a 267-bed hospital in Fort Walton Beach, FL. The facility offers an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, a Cancer Care Center, open‑heart surgery services, a main emergency room, a dedicated pediatric ER, and two freestanding ERs.

The role: Working under the direction of a Radiologist, the CT Technologist performs radiology and CAT scan procedures at a technical level that requires no constant supervision of technical detail. The position calls for independent judgment in applying prescribed ionizing radiation across a variety of procedures, and the technologist assumes responsibility for designated areas or assigned procedures. Patients served span all age groups, from neonates through geriatric populations.

Requirements

• One year of CT experience required
• Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology School
• Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) & (CT) registry preferred
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Schedule

Multiple shifts available: Days (Weekends Only), Nights (No Weekends), and Nights (Weekends Only).

Compensation

$27.42 - $39.76/hr plus $15,000 sign‑on bonus.
