Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiologic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist. You will determine proper techniques, positioning, and safety measures according to department protocols while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

A sign-on bonus eligible up to $7,500 is offered. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, ARRT registration or eligibility with certification within 12 months, and ongoing education requirements.

  • Must maintain the required hours of continued education.
  • ARRT registration required or registry eligible; if eligible, registry must be obtained within 12 months of hire.

General Summary

Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs Radiologic procedures for the evaluation of pathological entities as ordered by a physician. Performs related functions according to department protocols. Utilizes independent judgment in determining appropriate radiographic techniques, positioning, and safety practices.


Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.


Must maintain the required hours of continued education.


Certifications/Licensures Required

Must be registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible.


If registry is eligible, registry must be obtained within 12 months of date of hire.


Healthcare Provider certification required (BCLS).
