Job summary

Henry Ford Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, MI seeks a Radiologic Technologist to operate radiographic equipment and produce diagnostic radiographs. You will work with radiologists, physicians, and staff, following safety standards and department policies.

Full Time 40 hours per week, Afternoon shift 3pm-11:30pm with weekend and holiday rotation

General Summary

Operates radiographic equipment to produce clinical diagnostic radiographs and images. Performs diagnostic procedures according to established standards and radiation safety practices. Works directly with patients, radiologists, physicians and fellow associates. Follows established rules, regulations policies and procedures of Genesys Regional Medical Center. Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to provide care to the age group(s) served. Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Must possess equivalent of a high school diploma and must have completed an accredited 2-year radiology program. Work Experience: Experience preferred, not required. No additional preferences.

Certification/Licences Required

• Certified BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Or be certified by the American Registry of Clinical Radiography Technologists (ARCRT); renewal is required.
