Job summary

Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care Centers is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiography and provide patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting. You will apply ionizing radiation, acquire and analyze radiographs, and collaborate with medical providers to support accurate diagnoses.

The role requires ARRT registration, state licensure as applicable, and BLS certification at time of hire, with prior clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program required.
• ARRT registration required at time of hire.
• State licensure as Radiologic Technologist required at time of hire (if applicable).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at time of hire.

Job description

• Collaborate with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication
• Exercise professional judgment to provide health care services, which include applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups
• Responsible for providing a variety of technical procedures and applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis
• Responsible for performing and analyzing patient x-rays and reporting results to Medical Providers
• Providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care Centers

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program required
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire, obtained through the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required at time of hire
• State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist is required at the time of hire (if applicable by state law)
