Job summary

Highlands-Cashiers Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform a variety of invasive and non-invasive radiologic procedures with a focus on quality imaging. The role requires ARRT registration, BLS, and graduation from a JRCERT-accredited radiography program.

• Must be ARRT registered and maintain CEU requirements for recertification.

Responsibilities

• Perform invasive and non-invasive radiologic procedures across patient populations.
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment ensuring patient and staff safety.
• Assist physicians during procedures and provide quality diagnostic radiographs with minimal supervision.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Radiologic Technologist is required to perform invasive and non-invasive procedures on a variety of patients. Diagnostic Radiologic Technologists are required to utilize sterile techniques, if necessary, operate complex radiographic equipment, and assist physicians as necessary throughout the Mission Health System. Continuing education, learned skills and experience will be utilized. This position will function without constant supervision to produce superior quality diagnostic radiographs. The technologist must be versatile in any given routine diagnostic area.

What qualifications you will need:

• Required Education: Graduate of JRCERT accredited School of Radiography.
• Required License: Must be ARRT registered. Completes requirements for CEU for re-certification. BLS
• Required Experience: Minimum six months experience in a multi-disciplined Radiology Department. Approved experience gained through a clinical education program is acceptable.
