Job summary

Mission Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiology procedures with minimal supervision across a range of clinical areas. You will operate complex radiographic equipment, maintain sterile technique, and support physicians during imaging studies within the Mission Health System.

The role requires ARRT registration, graduation from a JRCERT-accredited radiography program, and a minimum of six months of multi-disciplinary radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Required Education: Graduate of JRCERT accredited School of Radiography.
• Required License: ARRT registered, CEU recertification and BLS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform invasive and non-invasive radiologic procedures on a variety of patients.
• Operate complex radiographic equipment and assist physicians as needed.
• Work with sterile technique and maintain high-quality diagnostic radiographs with minimal supervision.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Radiologic Technologist is required to perform invasive and non-invasive procedures on a variety of patients. Diagnostic Radiologic Technologists are required to utilize sterile techniques, if necessary, operate complex radiographic equipment, and assist physicians as necessary throughout the Mission Health System. Continuing education, learned skills and experience will be utilized. This position will function without constant supervision to produce superior quality diagnostic radiographs. The technologist must be versatile in any given routine diagnostic area.

What qualifications you will need:

• Required Education: Graduate of JRCERT accredited School of Radiography.
• Required License: Must be ARRT registered. Completes requirements for CEU for re-certification. BLS
• Required Experience: Minimum six months experience in a multi-disciplined Radiology Department. Approved experience gained through a clinical education program is acceptable.
