Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit seeks a Radiographer to perform radiologic procedures under Radiologist supervision and deliver high-quality imaging for patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ARRT registration or eligibility within 12 months of hire.
• Healthcare Provider BCLS certification required.
• Must maintain required hours of continued education.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist.
• Determine appropriate radiographic techniques and patient positioning.
• Adhere to department protocols and safety practices to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care.

Role Overview

As a Radiographer, you¿ll perform radiologic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist to evaluate pathological conditions as ordered by physicians. Your expertise in determining appropriate techniques, positioning, and safety practices will directly impact patient diagnosis and treatment. This role is essential in supporting both clinical teams and patients by providing accurate and timely imaging results.

Qualifications

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible (must obtain within 12 months of hire).
• Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS).
• Must maintain required hours of continued education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Familiarity with advanced radiologic techniques and equipment.
