Qualifications

• Completion of approved ACR Radiologic Technologist Program.
• AZ Medical Radiographer license required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• ARRT Registered Radiographer credential.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes good radiation safety practices for patients, self and others.
• Produces high quality radiographs with proper marking and positioning.
• Competent in Fluoro, portables, OR, Litho, ED/Trauma imaging areas.
• Operates RCO, Radnet, PACS and related hospital systems.
• Assists imaging staff in locating films, loading CDs, printing reports.
• Completes required hospital forms and incident reports per protocol.
• Records exam notes in Radnet and DR systems.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.

Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.

To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

• Utilizes good radiation safety practices for patients, self and others
• Displays competency performing procedures; follows every step for taking an x-ray (two patient identifier, gel in/gel out, etc).
• Always produces high quality films. Accurately marks radiographs with R's and L's, supine and upright (if appropriate); and assures that patient information is clearly visible
• Competent in one or more areas of Diagnostic Radiology (fluoro, portables, OR, Litho, ED/Trauma)
• Understands the interrelation and operates the various computer systems such as RCO, Radnet, PACS and other hospital systems
• Assists Imaging Support in locating films/images, loading CD's, printing reports and assisting physicians
• Accurately and thoroughly completes hospital/department forms per protocol i.e. incident reports, side/site forms, etc.
• Completes exam(s) in Radnet,enters notes or other required documentation into Radnet, DR or other computer systems
