Job summary

Great River Health introduces the Right Choice Internal Resource Pool (IRP), offering Radiologic Technologists flexible scheduling and assignments across our Iowa facilities. Local staff can select when to work, while those outside a 50-mile radius can pursue travel assignments within the system.

Commitment levels pay $41/hour locally and $65/hour for travel with added evening, night, weekend, and holiday differentials. Must hold Iowa Radiography licensure and ARRT registration.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience required.
• Iowa Permit to Practice – Radiography required.
• ARRT Registered required.
• Maintains licensure/certification/registration required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required.

Responsibilities

• Must take assignments at any of the three campuses.
• Minimum of 24 hours in a 6-week scheduling period.
• LTA 6 weeks or longer adds $5 per hour.

  For Radiologic Techs living beyond the 50-mile radius from West Burlington, Iowa, the Right Choice IRP presents exciting travel assignments across Great River Health facilities. This is a perfect opportunity for those looking to explore new environments within the same health system with assignments available at our Great River Health hospitals.

For Rad Techs who live 50 miles from 1221 S. Gear Ave, West Burlington, IA 52655

Commitment Level 1: $41/hour

• Required to take assignments at any of our three campuses

• Minimum of 24 hours in a 6-week scheduling period

• Additional $5 an hour if you work a LTA of 6 weeks or longer

We ask that you select one Summer and one Winter hard to fill shift as part of your commitment. You can select the hard to fill day and shift time that suits your availability, and you can adjust this as you see fit annually.

Commitment Level 2: $65/hour

• Required to take assignments at any of our three campuses

• Must take one long-term assignment every 4 months (6 weeks or longer in duration)

Eligible shift differentials:

• Evening differential: $1.40/hour (14:30 - 22:59)
• Night differential: $1.60/hour (22:30 - 08:30)
• Weekend differential: $1.00/hour (Friday @ 23:00 – Sunday @ 23:00)
• Holiday Differential: 1.5x base rate of pay (2.0x base rate on Christmas)

Qualifications:

REQUIRED

• 2 years of experience
• Iowa Permit to Practice – Radiography
• ARRT Registered
• Maintains valid licensure/certification/registration
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
