Job summary

St. Mary's General Hospital in Passaic, NJ, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures per department protocols and regulations.

You will interface with patients, ensure imaging needs are met, and participate in PI/QC activities while maintaining accurate image processing and PACS transmission. A JRCERT-accredited program graduate with NJDEP license and BCLS is required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of radiology technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI/QC activities. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Qualifications

• Must have current NJDEP license.
• ARRT-R is required.
• Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• Current BCLS (AHA).
• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT (Joint Review Committee on Education in RT).
• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
