Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist. The role requires independent judgment to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis and/or intervention.

Responsibilities include operating radiology equipment, ensuring image quality, and maintaining strict patient safety and comfort. Shifts may vary in length and location across urgent care settings.

Qualifications

• ARRT: Amer Reg Rad Technologist credential.
• BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR trained.
• FL RT: Florida Radiologic Technologist license required.
• RTR: Registered Tech Radiology credential.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist, with independent judgment as needed.
• Operate imaging equipment to acquire diagnostic-quality images.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during examinations.

Job Summary

Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Technologist will perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis and / or intervention. Technologist will assume responsibility for all designated areas and procedures as required.

Preferred License And Certs

Our urgent care centers are open 7 days a week 8am-8pm. Evenings, weekends and holidays are required. Additionally, shifts can vary from 8 hour shifts to 10 and 12 hour shifts. Flexibility to work at all 7 of our urgent care locations is also required, however schedule location preferences will be taken into consideration.
