Job summary

Torrance-Memorial Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist under supervision to prepare patients and perform radiologic examinations. The role requires adherence to ALARA, safety protocols, and effective communication with patients and healthcare staff.

The technician will operate x-ray equipment, calibrate and maintain equipment, assist Radiologists, and ensure documentation in RIS/PACS. Required ARRT/CRT certifications and BCLS/ACLS are included in the credentialing checklist.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT License for Radiologic Technologist and CRT certification.
• BCLS or ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operates x‑ray equipment and systems to obtain diagnostic quality images.
• Calibrates and maintains imaging equipment for quality control.
• Performs portable radiographic procedures in high‑stress environments.
• Assists Radiologist during procedures and prepares patient information.
