Job summary

City Colleges of Chicago is seeking a Lab Coordinator for the Radiologic Technologist program to enhance student knowledge and skills in the lab setting.

The role ensures proper inventory and maintenance of equipment, assists faculty, and coordinates lab activities to align with curriculum. The individual will schedule labs, support safety policies, and help with student recruitment and program initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Certification in Radiologic Technologist field highly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years related experience in Health Science field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates lab environment and activities to supplement lessons and safety policies.
• Demonstrates Health Science techniques and evaluates student performance.
• Maintains equipment inventory and reports failures to supervisor.
• Advises students about the Health Science program and schedules labs.
• Maintains student records and assists with program meetings and examinations.
• Assists with group tours, recruitment efforts, and student interviews as needed.

Education
