Job summary

Saint Clare's Health in New Jersey seeks a dedicated Radiology Technologist to perform Diagnostic Radiography, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, and Ultrasound per department protocols. You will be the first contact for patients’ imaging needs, participate in PI/QC activities, and assist in the Performance Improvement Program.

You may oversee radiology staff in the Manager/Director's absence and ensure supplies are stocked and ready. Images are transmitted to PACS.

Qualifications

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• Appropriate national certifications in two modalities required.
• Current BCLS (AHA).
• Familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Radiographic, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound or Special Procedures per department protocols.
• Interfaces with customers and supports imaging needs.
• Participates in PI/QC activities and supports Performance Improvement Program.
• Oversees radiology area and/or staff in Manager's/Director's absence.
• Maintains department supplies; handles scheduling for sub-departments.
• Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
