Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist for evening/night shifts in our Minnesota facilities. The role supports multiple modalities including CT, MRI, general radiology, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, and mammography, with a strong emphasis on patient interaction and quality imaging.

The position is 0.8 FTE (64 hours per two-week pay period) with an $7,500 starting bonus for eligible external talent.

Qualifications

• Multi-modality radiology technologist role requires ARRT/ARRT within hire or registry eligible.
• Must meet at least one certification pathway per modality (XR, CT, MRI, NM, Mammography, US).
• Current BLS certification required or in-house training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiologic imaging across multiple modalities as directed.
• Identify patient using two identifiers and document procedure details.
• Maintain safe environment and ensure images transfer to PACS/EMR accurately.
• Communicate with patients and team, support workflow and adhere to department policies.
• Operate imaging equipment and assist with quality control and clerical duties.

Education

Accredited School of Radiologic Technology

ARRT Certification (Radiography)

ARRT Certification - MRI/CT/General Radiography as applicable

NMTCB Certification (Nuclear Medicine)

Mammography ARRT (required or within 1 year)

Ultrasound ARDMS/ARDMS-equivalent (if US)

BLS Certification (AHA or Red Cross)
