Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, KY is seeking a Radiologic Technologist Assistant to support the diagnostic imaging team. You will help transport patients, assist Rad Techs with transfers to the imaging table, and ensure patient comfort and safety.

This role requires a high school diploma; prior medical experience is preferred but not required. Training may cover PACS, RIS, and mammography file duties, with a commitment to flexible scheduling across a 24-hour operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous medical experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to the diagnostic imaging department in a manner conducive to comfort, safety and well-being.
• Assist Radiologic Technologists with patient transfers to imaging table.
• Help patients to the bathroom and perform other duties as directed.
• Maintain mammography file folders and retrieve/return them.
• Digitize out-of-hospital films into PACS; handle related duties as directed.
