Harrison County Hospital is seeking an experienced Radiology Tech, X-Ray or CT. This full-time position is 40 hours per week and training in CT is available.

The Radiologic Technologist interprets physician requests, performs radiographic exams, and can work independently in at least one additional modality (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography) with a focus on patient safety and comfort. Education requirements include graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology program and ARRT or equivalent

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification or equivalent required.
• Willing to train in CT; prior CT/MRI experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician requests and perform Radiographic exams to produce quality radiographs.
• Work independently in at least one additional modality (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography).
• Conduct exams with patient safety and comfort as a priority.

Job description

Harrison County Hospital is seeking an experienced Radiology Tech, X-Ray or CT.

This position is full-time, 40 hours per week. Willing to train in CT.

The Radiologic Technologist interprets physician's requests, performs Radiographic exams and other duties related to the production of quality radiographs. The Radiologic Technologist works independently in at least one additional modality (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Mammography) and conducts exams in a manner conducive to the patient's safety and comfort.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Graduate from an approved school of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT or equivalent.
• Previous CT and/or MRI experience preferred, but not required.

REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS

• Must be ARRT registered.
• Must maintain licensure by ISBH.
• CPR Certified (American Heart Association)
