Job summary

Brightpoint Community College seeks a Radiologic Technology Adjunct to teach in the radiologic technology program at our Chesterfield instructional site. This is a part-time position with courses offered during the day or evening.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT certification, an associate degree in radiologic technology, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. A Bachelor's degree in teaching is preferred, and applicants must pass background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate's degree and demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline.
• Holds current ARRT certification and registration in radiography.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Must successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check prior to employment.
• Additional Considerations: Bachelor's degree in the teaching discipline preferred with prior teaching experience at the postsecondary level.
• Ability to use instructional technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide part-time instruction in radiologic technology at the off-campus instructional site.
• Courses may be taught during the day and evening.
• Orientation to responsibilities provided by full-time faculty or Program Director.
• Textbooks provided and orientation to Brightpoint classroom support software.
