Job summary

Brightpoint Community College is seeking a Part-Time Radiologic Technology Advisor to provide one-on-one and group advising to continuing CTE students. You will guide course selection, map programs, and assist with registration while collaborating with faculty and deans to ensure consistent messaging.

You will support early alert and retention initiatives, participate in recruitment events, and help coordinate new student orientations.

Qualifications

• Strong background in academic advising or career counseling.
• Assessing student needs and creating academic and career plans.
• Provide both individual and group advising including course selection and progress monitoring.
• Understand industry certifications and labor market demands.
• Excellent written, oral, public speaking, and presentation skills.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and FERPA compliance.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends; work independently or with teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one advising to continuing CTE students.
• Guide students through course selection and program mapping, and assist with registration.
• Collaborate with faculty and deans to ensure consistent advising messaging.
• Refer students to wraparound services when needed.
• Support early alert and retention initiatives for CTE programs.
• Assist with recruitment events, enrollment campaigns, and new student orientations.
