Job summary

The Radiologic Technologist at Baylor Scott & White Health performs radiology procedures on patients under the supervision of a Radiologist, following established protocols to diagnose disease and injury.

Shift: Full Time; Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Experience: Prefer 1 year of hospital experience. Benefits and core values are highlighted in the organization description.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R Radiography certification is required or preferred.
• MRT certification is preferred or required.
• Experience: Prefer 1 year of hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiology procedures on patients according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
• Maintains imaging quality by following established standards and procedures.
• Uses AIDET to communicate with patients and gathers necessary history and consent.
• Prepares patient and area, positions patient, and adjusts exposure factors.
• Maintains equipment and department cleanliness and reports issues to management.
• Screens individuals entering the department and verifies documentation.
• Maintains medical imaging records per department policies.
