Job summary

Asante’s imaging program seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures and evaluate radiographs for quality while delivering patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The position is full-time, 1st shift days in Oregon with a salary range of $34.94–$48.04 per hour. External candidates may be eligible for relocation assistance. License and BLS are required at start.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Radiography by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) with certification in Radiography (R) through ARRT.
• Permanent licensure must be obtained within 1 year of hire or prior to temporary license expiration.
• BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures for diagnosis and treatment.
• Evaluate radiographs for quality and accuracy.
• Provide patient care and assume assigned responsibilities.
• Adhere to Asante policies and state laws.

Education

Shift Differentials:

• $1.96 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• $4.25 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
• $1.82 extra for working weekends

Asante’simaging experts go above and beyond. All techs are highly trained, exceeding state requirements with advanced certifications in MRI, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and bone density scanning. Our imaging program is supervised by a board-certified radiologist who works directly with techs at the hospital to interpret test results and offer guidance on complex cases.

TheRadiologic Technologistperforms various radiographic procedures used in diagnosis and treatment of disease, requiring independent and professional judgment. They also evaluate radiographs for quality and provide patient care and assume responsibility for designated assignments and perform related work as required. Duties are delegated in relation to the degree of training and in accordance with the policies of Asante and respective to state laws governing such action and activities.
