Essential Functions

• Operate lithotripter at assigned site, ensuring patient safety and assisting urologist during lithotripsy procedures.
• Operate C-arm and fluoroscopy equipment as applicable.
• Document and enter data of lithotripsy procedures accurately.
• Complete daily patient logs and coordinate with accounting and facility personnel.
• Perform daily quality control on lithotripter and document findings.
• Follow treatment strategies and parameters as directed by the urologist.
• Apply ALARA principles to minimize x-ray exposure while maintaining high-quality procedures.
• Identify equipment malfunctions, troubleshoot, and communicate issues to support and management.
• Become proficient in anatomy and locating kidney stones on imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Current ARRT certification and state licensure, as applicable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, to be completed within 30 days of employment.

Preferred Knowledge and Experience

• Experience with C-arm and fluoroscopy required.
• Shockwave Lithotripsy (SWL) experience preferred.
• Computer skills desired.

Experience

• One year of Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.
