Job summary

Corewell Health’s Gerber Hospital is seeking a part-time Diagnostic Radiology professional to perform imaging procedures under the supervision of a registered radiographer. Responsibilities include equipment readiness, patient safety, and coordination of routine radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, including portable x-rays and trauma imaging.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, have completed the first year of an accredited imaging program (AHA/ARC), and hold Basic Life Support

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required.
• Must have completed the first year of an accredited imaging program (AHA or ARC).
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are prepared at the start and end of each procedure.
• Coordinate and perform routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable x-rays, trauma and surgery imaging per standards.
