Overview

This is a field-based and remote opportunity supporting key accounts in an assigned geography. Novartis is unable to offer relocation support for this role; please only apply if this location is accessible for you.

Role Summary

The Radioligand Therapies (RLT) Director, Ecosystem Lead will lead the enterprise mindset across the regional RLT ecosystem to meet organizational objectives. Responsibilities include developing and executing customer engagement strategies by understanding the needs of key ecosystem partners and the healthcare environment, fostering collaboration among teams, and building relationships with senior decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Understand and anticipate the needs of target ecosystem customers at all levels, from departments to C-Suite, using insights to influence business trends and priorities.
  2. Develop strategic plans and lead the Integrated Field Strategy Team (IFST) to advance Novartis' objectives, collaborating on pre-launch and launch strategies.
  3. Build and maintain strategic relationships with ecosystem partners, including C and D suite executives, to enhance engagement and identify opportunities for collaboration.
  4. Lead cross-functional collaboration, driving communication, problem-solving, and decision-making to eliminate barriers and create solutions.
  5. Manage account performance across the RLT platform, influencing demand-generation activities and ecosystem performance.
  6. Establish effective communication channels within Novartis and with external ecosystems, aligning strategic shifts with organizational goals.
  7. Handle multiple complex targets within the ecosystem archetypes.
Essential Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or related industries with large, dispersed sales teams, including cross-functional roles.
  • 5+ years in account management with Healthcare Systems, GPOs, or Oncology Networks.
  • 2+ years in project management and strategy execution.
  • Recent US experience within the last 5 years, with a strong understanding of the US healthcare ecosystem.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and lead in a matrix environment, building strategic account plans.
  • Residence within the territory or within 100 miles of its border; ability to travel 60-80% with a valid driver’s license.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience in Oncology, Nuclear Medicine, or Buy and Bill healthcare models.
  • Understanding of macro-economic healthcare factors impacting clinical and financial decisions.
Additional Information

Driving is an essential function; a valid, unrestricted driver’s license is required. Novartis provides accommodations for medical restrictions.

Compensation

Starting salary range: $176,400 - $327,600/year, subject to adjustments based on market conditions, location, experience, and skills. Additional benefits include bonuses, stock units, and comprehensive health and retirement plans.
