Description

Location: UCHealth Castle Rock Medical Ctr, US:CO:Castle Rock

Department: Radiology

FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $36.00 per hour plus travel package/stipend

LOCAL Traveler contract options available for those who reside within 75 miles

13 week assignments available - extension options

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• One year of experience
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R). Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for position
• State licensure if required by law
• BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide top of scope practice in direct patient care for imaging and radiologic procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes
• Precept and mentor those new to imaging and UCHealth
• Maintain safety and quality standards at the point of care
• Review patient history, initiate radiographic images based on physician orders, and educate patients
• Safely administer contrast media and monitor patient condition
• Respond to changes in patient condition appropriately
• Implement techniques for image clarity, quality control, and equipment functionality
