Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System in Pembroke Pines, FL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures in accordance with scope and standards of practice and in line with our mission of patient-centered care.

You will position patients, adjust exposure factors, monitor safety, educate patients, and collaborate with teams to ensure high-quality images and accurate coding. On-call duties may be required.

Qualifications

• Active Radiography Certificate from the State of Florida required.
• ARRT certification required with ongoing education.
• BLS certification required for patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Position patient and perform imaging procedures according to policy.
• Ensure image quality and repeat as needed.
• Review patient history and physician orders.
• Educate patients about procedures and safety.
• Perform contrast administration if ordered.
• Adhere to safety standards and QA procedures.
• Document procedures and charges.
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment.
