Ocean County College in New Jersey seeks a Radiography Program Director to lead the development and accreditation of an Associates in Applied Science in Radiography. The role includes curriculum design, lab setup, admissions criteria, and ongoing compliance with JRCERT and the New Jersey Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners.

The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day program operations, supervise faculty, recruit students, and coordinate clinical experiences while advancing student

Qualifications

• Master’s degree is required.
• Proficient in curriculum design, evaluation, instruction, program administration, and academic advising.
• Documented three years’ experience as a radiographer.
• Documented two years’ experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited program.
• Current ARRT certification.
• Current NJ licensure as a radiology technologist in NJ.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of JRCERT and NJ Radiologic Technology Board accreditation standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related tech; ability to create detailed documents and presentations.

Responsabilités

• Directs the Radiography Program and ensures effective operations.
• Obtains and maintains accreditation from JRCERT and NJ Board.
• Participates in budget planning and monitors funds.
• Participates in didactic/clinical instruction; teaches 6 credits per year.
• Maintains current knowledge of the profession and education methodologies.
• Assumes leadership in continued program development.
• Develops, organizes, implements, and evaluates the Radiography Program and assessments.
• Hires, supervises, and evaluates program personnel.
• Schedules clinical experiences.
• Recruits and advises prospective students.
• Plans and hosts Radiography Advisory Committee meetings.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
