Job summary

Southwest Tennessee Community College is seeking an adjunct instructor for Radiography Technology to join the Department of Allied Health and Natural Sciences. This is a part-time adjunct position with compensation at $640 per credit hour and opportunities across STCC's multiple campus locations.

The Adjunct Instructor will coordinate, plan, present, and evaluate classroom and clinical instruction, and participate in advising, committees, and professional activities as needed, with teaching

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or master’s degree in another discipline with 18 hours of graduate work in the teaching discipline.
• Minimum two years teaching experience in higher education or one year teaching experience and three years employment in the field.
• Experience coordinating and evaluating classroom instruction.
• Ability to adapt to teaching day, evening, or weekend sessions.
• Commitment to professional activities and committees.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, plans, prepares, presents, and evaluates classroom instruction and related activities.
• Delivers teaching duties during day, evening, or weekend on any STCC campus.
• Assists in academic advising, serving on committees, and professional activities.
• Maintains records and supports FERPA compliance.
• Keeps current with developments in Radiography Education.
