Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. in Baton Rouge seeks an experienced NDT RT Technician to perform radiographic inspections and evaluate weld quality in accordance with applicable codes and customer specifications.

The ideal candidate will have industrial radiography experience, Level II RT certification, and the ability to interpret radiographs and document findings. This on-site role requires safety awareness and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Industrial radiography experience required.
  • Level II RT certification required.
  • Must have valid State Card.
  • State Radiographer Card and/or IRRSP certification preferred.
  • Experience evaluating weld quality and interpreting RT results.
  • Knowledge of applicable welding and inspection codes.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, procedures, and specifications.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Must have Valid driver's license.
  • Must have TWIC Card.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to pass DISA background and drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate inspection reports and documentation.
  • Follow radiation safety and company safety procedures.
  • Support outage, maintenance, fabrication, and inspection projects.
  • Work overtime, nights, weekends, and travel assignments as needed.

Description

MISTRAS Group, IncMISTRAS Group is seeking an experienced NDT RT Technician to perform radiographic inspections and evaluate Weld Quality in accordance with applicable codes, customer specifications, and industry standards.
