Job summary

MISTRAS Group in Savannah, GA seeks a qualified NDT RT Technician to perform radiographic inspections. You will set up RT equipment, interpret results, and document findings in accordance with procedures and standards.

Ideal candidates have prior radiographic testing experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work with project teams across outages and maintenance tasks. This full-time role requires flexibility for varying shifts and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Level II RT certification preferred.
• Previous industrial radiography experience required.
• State card and/or IRRSP certification preferred where applicable.
• Strong understanding of radiographic testing techniques and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in team environments.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Radiographic Testing (RT) inspections in accordance with approved procedures and standards.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate RT equipment.
• Interpret radiographic images and evaluate indications.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and documentation.
• Follow all radiation safety and company safety procedures.
• Maintain inspection equipment and records.
• Work closely with supervisors, customers, and project teams.
• Support outage, maintenance, fabrication, and inspection projects.
• Support additional NDT methods as needed.
• Work overtime, weekends, nights, and varying shifts as project demands require.
