Responsibilities

• Reviews and verifies physician orders, patient identity, and clinical history prior to examination.
• Performs diagnostic radiology procedures, including radiographic, fluoroscopic, and interventional exams, ensuring image quality and patient safety.
• Selects and adapts protocols, positions patients, and administers contrast media as required, accommodating patient needs and age-specific criteria.
• Practices radiation safety and infection control standards following ALARA principles.
• Maintains accurate documentation in electronic systems, including exam charging, patient records, and quality control activities.
• Maintains licensure, certifications, continuing education, and compliance with departmental policies.
