The role requires an Associate's Degree in Radiology, ARRT certification, and CPR. You will prepare patients, position them for procedures, operate imaging equipment, and maintain QA on X-ray rooms and equipment, while following ALARA guidelines.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required for clinical radiology procedures.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and RIS/PACS use.
• Knowledge of ALARA guidelines for radiation safety and patient protection.
• Must be able to meet hospital on-call requirements and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Receives and reviews requests for radiologic studies.
• Explains and prepares patients for radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Positions patients to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Operates radiographic equipment and imaging suites.
• Ensures high-quality radiographs while following ALARA standards.
• Maintains equipment and reports malfunctions.
• Assists with complex examinations such as arteriography or myelography.
• Performs clerical duties as assigned.
