Cook Children's Health Care System in Prosper, TX, seeks a Radiologic Technologist for the Radiology-Diagnostic department. The role supports all ages from neonatal to adult patients, performing diagnostic imaging under supervision and in collaboration with physicians and nursing staff.

The position emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and adherence to department policies. ARRT certification, CPR/BLS, and TMB eligibility within 90 days are required; CT registry is strongly preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Texas Medical Board (TMB) certification within 90 days of hire.
• CT registry strongly preferred.

Summary:

This position is accountable for providing expertise for all ages from neonatal/newborn to adults. Functions in collaboration with physicians and/or nurse practitioners, and nursing staff in support of Our Promise. Accountable for performing quality diagnostic imaging examinations through the application of advanced clinical and technical knowledge. Accountable for maintaining strict attention to safe patient care in accordance with organization and department policy, procedures and protocols. Knowledgeable of regulatory compliance standards and radiation safety, maintaining departmental compliance in collaboration with the Radiation Safety Officer.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduation from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
• ARRT required
• CPR - BLS required
• TMB-certified within 90 days of hire
• CT registry strongly preferred
