Day Kimball Health is hiring a Radiographer to join the Diagnostic Imaging department in Putnam, CT. The role involves performing radiographic, mammographic, and fluoroscopic exams with both mobile and stationary equipment during the 11p-7a shift.
Responsibilities include proper exposure technique, radiation protection, patient positioning, and assisting physicians with contrast media. Requires a 2-year Radiologic Technology program, CT license, ARRT certification, and CPR certification.
Shift: 3rd, 11p-7a
This position is offering Full Benefits and a Sign-on bonus of $7,000 for eligible candidates.
Radiographer Benefits Summary:
Under the direction of the Radiologist and/or DI Administration, the Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech), performs professional duties. which involve a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. The position will also assist physicians in selection of practical application and technical factors.
High degree of technical aptitude with an in-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
Knowledge of computer keyboard, programs and menus.
