Job summary

Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diverse radiologic procedures under supervision, using standard and specialized X-ray equipment to aid physicians in diagnosis and treatment.

The candidate should be a graduate of a radiology program with ARRT and MA licensure, and possess strong communication and equipment-operating skills. Prior PACS/Cerner experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Radiology program and ARRT and state licensure.
• Experience with radiologic equipment and patient care.
• Sterile technique and PACS/Cerner familiarity are a plus.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36

Under supervision, and following established procedures, performs a variety of radiologic procedures in two or more modalities, using standard, portable and/or specialized X-ray equipment to apply prescribed ionizing radiation in order to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patient's illnesses or injury.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience

• Graduate of Radiology program and maintain ARRT and state licensure
• Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills
• Ability to operate radiologic equipment

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience

• Experience in acute hospital setting
• Experience with sterile technique
• Experience with administering contrast dye
• Assisting IR procedures
• Experience with PACS
• Previous Cerner experience a plus

Educational Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology; Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology.

License/Certification

• ARRT registration and Massachusetts licensure required
• Advanced registration for additional modalities and hospital IV certification as appropriate for the modality. preferred

Salary Range: $35.88-$55.56
