Job summary

Eckert & Ziegler Radiopharma, Inc. in Wilmington, MA is seeking a Radiochemist to support isotope production and radiolabeling activities in a cGMP environment. The role requires direct radiolabeling experience and a chemistry degree with hands-on radiochemistry exposure.

On-site, full-time work with daily lab operations and cross-functional collaboration are essential. Responsibilities include process validation, technical transfers, and compliance with USP <825> and 21 CFR Part 211,

Qualifications

• Direct radiolabeling experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with 1–3 years radiochemistry experience, or Master’s with at least 1 year radiochemistry experience.
• Experience with PET IND radiochemistry is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of USP <825> and cGMP requirements under 21 CFR Part 211.
• Proficiency with hot-cell manipulators and standard radiochemistry equipment.
• Demonstrated experience in a cGMP radiochemistry production environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Wilmington, MA.

Responsibilities

• Support Y-90 and Lu-177 isotope production activities.
• Support radiolabeling campaigns for client projects.
• Participate in technical transfer and process validation activities for new projects.
• Assist with evaluating proposals and provide input to project teams.
• Ensure compliance with USP <825> and 21 CFR Part 211 in daily radiochemistry operations.
• Collaborate with QA, QC, vendors, and project management to support readiness and timely execution.
• Maintain isotope production documentation and cGMP records.
• Handle and manage radioactive waste safely per safety procedures.
