Job summary

Acceler8 Talent is seeking an RF Systems Engineer to own the system-level RF architecture for next-generation radar and SATCOM hardware in Boston. This early-stage startup builds 3D integrated RF hardware for defense radar and LEO satellite links.

You’ll translate customer requirements into RFIC/MMIC specs and work with RF, EM and analog engineers; focus areas include phased arrays, beamforming, link budgets, and OTA testing.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in RF/mmWave systems engineering with 5+ years (MS) or 2+ years (PhD) experience.
• Experience with radar, satellite communications or wireless front ends.
• Hands-on work with phased arrays, beamforming, link budgets or RF system testing.
• System simulation experience with ADS, SystemVue or MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Own the system-level RF architecture translating customer requirements into RFIC/MMIC/EM/analog specs.
• Translate customer requirements into technical specs for engineers.
• Oversee radar and SATCOM front-end architecture and validation.
• Lead system validation and OTA testing across the hardware chain.

They’re hiring theirfirst RF Systems Engineerto own the system-level architecture - turning customer requirements into the specs that RFIC/MMIC, EM and analog engineers design to.

You’ll work across:

• Phased arrays, beamformers and transceiver chains
• Link budgets, noise, linearity, EIRP and dynamic range
• Radar and SATCOM front-end architecture
• System-level hardware validation and OTA testing

What they’re looking for:

• M.S. +5+ yearsor Ph.D. +2+ yearsin RF/mmWave systems engineering
• Experience withradar, satellite communications or wireless front ends
• Hands‑on experience withphased arrays, beamforming, link budgets or RF system testing
• System simulation experience with tools such asADS, SystemVue or MATLAB
