Base pay range

$50.00/hr - $60.00/hr

Responsibilities:

Design and implement RF systems for inbuilding venues and DAS.
Develop detailed RF design plans, including antenna placement and system configuration.
Perform RF propagation modeling and prediction to ensure optimal coverage and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF systems with existing infrastructure.
Conduct RF drive testing and analysis to validate system performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve RF-related issues during installation and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Prepare technical documentation, including design reports and test plans.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in RF technology and industry trends.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Proven experience in RF design, particularly for inbuilding venues and DAS.
Strong knowledge of RF principles, propagation modeling, and interference analysis.
Proficiency in RF design software (e.g., iBwave, Atoll, etc.).
Experience with Extenet or Crown fiber or small cells teams/orgs
Magenta Built experience.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Analyze building layouts, RF propagation characteristics, and capacity requirements to create detailed RF coverage and performance designs.
Validate design against venue requirements and operator/carrier specifications (e.g., PIM, SINR, RSRP targets).
Coordinate with OEMs and DAS vendors to review technical proposals, solutions, and ROMs.
Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, RF engineers, and carrier stakeholders during design review cycles.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in a related field.
Professional certifications in RF engineering.
Experience with 5G and advanced wireless technologies.
