We are seeking an experienced Senior RAN Design & Optimization Engineer to join a high-impact telecom team supporting cutting-edge 5G and LTE projects. This role requires deep technical expertise in RAN design, optimization, and tuning, as well as strong leadership capabilities to guide large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and execute technical activities in radio network design, implementation, and optimization across large metropolitan or statewide deployments.
Utilize tools like Atoll, Planet EV, and ACP for network planning and Monte Carlo simulations.
Analyze drive test data using tools such as TEMS Investigation, Actix, Agilent, and Rohde & Schwarz (R&S).
Perform layer 3 analysis, event troubleshooting, HO success rate improvement, and link budget optimization.
Conduct detailed performance tuning on LTE and 5G networks.
Work with Ericsson ENM and other optimization platforms to monitor and improve KPIs.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and customer teams to deliver technical excellence.
Mentor junior engineers and oversee planning/model tuning tasks.
Interpret IRAT procedures and multi-carrier impacts for performance improvements.

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in RAN engineering (Design, Optimization, Tuning).
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Computer Science (BSCS), or equivalent.
Led 5+ projects with 2+ large-scale deployments as the primary technical lead.
Hands-on experience with 5G NR, Massive MIMO, mmWave, LAA, CBRS, IoT, and 4G LTE.
Strong analytical knowledge of KPI analysis, uplink tuning, IRAT, and traffic loading.
Deep understanding of Layer 3 messaging and Monte Carlo analysis.
